You will be two blocks from the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio and a dozen other Frank Lloyd Wright historic homes. This is a beautiful house in world-famous Oak Park and is a great location for a peaceful getaway or for anyone visiting Chicago for business or pleasure.
Getting around
Oak Park has highly rated dining and shopping, world-class architecture, and the best public transportation network in the Chicago area. In addition, Oak Park is more than a place that people love to visit and live in because of its safe community and access to public service.
The space
The guest room has two comfortable queen beds and a spacious closet for all your belongings. The room also has a private sun porch with a beautiful view across the park. Guests are welcome to use
the living space, including a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room with a TV, and a dining area. The bathroom is UVC light disinfected with clean towels, toothbrush, and toothpaste. It is always kept clean for our guests. We are located close to public transportation, several restaurants, and shops. Come and make yourself at home at A Quiet Stay While You Are Away in Oak Park!
A camera is at the front door (monitoring the entrance). The device will be on and recording 24/7 during the reservation.
Guest access
You will have full access to the entire space as outlined in the description and shown in the pictures. The kitchen is fully equipped for your convenience, including a refrigerator, coffee, and tea. Additionally, upon request, Sunday brunch is available at no extra charge. During your stay, I will be offering my signature breakfast potatoes and other items. Please see the menu on the dining room table.
Other things to note
The quiet stay while you are away is a safe neighborhood of Oak Park, IL, just minutes from Concordia University and Dominican University. Our space is perfect for students, visiting professors, and families visiting the university.
